Project Details and Requirements
In some remote areas of Benin, a nearby water source is a basic need for families and the surrounding community. This project focuses on a practical solution that can be used daily and benefit a large number of residents.
Through its Africa water-well project, Bizim Eller builds a shallow well between 8 and 30 metres deep, fitted with a hand pump that gives beneficiaries access to water from a source dedicated to serving the area.
The well is expected to serve between 100 and 500 people, depending on the site and the actual need, with completion planned within one month.
The target cost is 81,500 TRY, covering construction and equipping of the well to the project’s specifications. A well donation helps fund the project through to completion, turning your support for water wells into a lasting resource the local community can rely on.

Donations for the project are pooled until the required funding is reached; construction and hand-pump installation then begin at the chosen site.
